My name is Rose Stephen. I am a psychotherapist and cognitive-behavioural therapist with a private practice in Surrey KT13 and London SW1. I also work worldwide via Zoom, Skype, and telephone.
I specialise in a combination of approaches — including CBT, transactional analysis, emotional freedom techniques, solution-focused therapy, and person-centred practice — always tailored to the individual. I work with couples, teenagers, and adults.
I have worked across NHS mental health services, drug and alcohol services, juvenile justice, and early intervention in psychosis. I offer both short-term and open-ended therapy, always adapting to your individual needs.
Because of my multicultural background, I bring different cultural knowledge and working styles. I warmly welcome clients from all backgrounds and communities.
How I work
Our first meeting is an introductory session to decide whether working together is right for you. I will invite you to sit in a relaxed, informal way and we will have a conversation — because I know you are the expert of your own experience.
I listen carefully without making judgements or offering easy answers. Instead, I help you make better sense of your experiences, uncover meanings, recognise patterns, and think more kindly of yourself.
